Register for the Low R No Alcohol Challenge
Mick Mulcahy fitness is teaming up with the SAFER Clubs Low R No Alcohol Challenge. This partnership is part of a commitment to reducing alcohol related harm and contributing to SAFER Communities.
The SAFER Communities accreditation system is a new initiative looking for sports clubs to get involved and to earn the SAFER Clubs Shield (Shielding our members from alcohol harm) by taking simple measures which can have a big impact.
The Low R No Alcohol Challenge is exactly what is says on the tin, you challenge yourself with either:
A) Go Alcohol Free for a duration of time (minimum 28 days)
B) Reduce your drinking to meet the Low-Risk Guidelines
We are looking for a group (places limited) to sign up and take on the challenge which will begin in February.
It will run for 4 weeks and includes access to circuit training (Naas & Newbridge), Sunday morning walks on the Curragh, a resource book with plenty of tips and techniques, as well as an introduction to the SAFER model. If that is not enough people that sign up will be helping to raise awareness of alcohol related harm and contribute to prevention within our communities.
If you would like to get involved register your interest at this link
Please note: This challenge is not suitable for people with problem alcohol use
