Ireland is estimated to have the third-highest rate of foetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and it is estimated that about 600 babies are born with foetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) every year.
To mark the 20th anniversary of international FASD Awareness day 9th day 9th month 2019, we joined with some of our colleagues to promote the new and updated Pregnancy and alcohol materials to improve awareness and understanding of FASD, these materials are available on www.healthpromotion.ie/alcohol
